It’s been a busy start to 2014!
After the success of the video for The Fox Problem (see further down), a couple of us have an appearance on 19th February in Orpington, in Bromley in London, with our friends Kat&Co, then all of us will be present at the same place on 20th February. This is all part of 3 nights of recording highly entertaining music acts for a new You Tube series called Talent In Focus – details and tickets here. Each act will record a short music set and be interviewed by Radio Caroline DJ, Steve Anthony.
Some of The Zimmers have just appeared on The Alan Titchmarsh Show and we’ve recorded something hush-hush for a new TV show and something very entertaining (involving a major star wearing less clothing than you might expect) for another forthcoming TV show.
New video – The Fox Problem
The Fox Problem invited Grace, Maura and Mollie to join them. Look what they got up to!
You can also see us as we take part in a night of video and interviews on 20th February in Bromley, London, see www.talentinfocus.co.uk.
Radio Caroline and Talent In Focus, February 19-21, 2014
Radio Caroline is 50 years old in March! 50 years old and still going strong! Still a lot younger than any of The Zimmers, but we’re pleased to be taking part in a video shoot in February in Orpington in the London Borough of Bromley for www.talentinfocus.co.uk. The Billy Walton Band from the US – who Rock like us! – played on the deck of Radio Caroline vessel Ross Revenge recently. We have a Radio Caroline DJ, Steve Anthony, interviewing us during the video shoot and we’re looking forward to meeting the other acts on our night (19 February) – Kat&Co, Andy Twyman, a young Bluesman who we enjoyed meeting and having entertain us at a recent rehearsal; and Witches Lane.
We’re also planning to take a look around Orpington during the afternoon of 19th February. Look out, Orpington – The Zimmers are coming to town!
The Zimmers have been busy! Recently we met the marvellous Arthur Lager and Steve Hewett, who made the final of Britain’s Got Talent this year. Arthur was very cheeky.
Mollie Hardie was interviewed on the lovely hospital and community radio station Radio Wey on August 22nd. Thank you to Mandy Morrow for being such a warm interviewer.
